Griffin, Georgia: Short Season Corn Hybrid Performance, 2000, Irrigated
-
A short season corn hybrid performance trial was conducted at this location during the 2000 growing season. However, high temperatures, disease, drought, and stand loss caused considerable variation in performance among plots within the test. Yields ranged from near 118 to 136 bushels per acre. After careful analysis and review of the data, it is the opinion of the editors that the results of this trial may not accurately reflect the performance potential of all test entries. Since this data could potentially be misleading if used in making decisions concerning hybrid selection, we have chosen not to present them in this publication. Results from this test will be provided upon request.
