1. CV = 10.1%, and df for EMS = 27.
2. The F-test indicated no statistical differences at the alpha = .10 probability level; therefore an LSD value was not calculated.
3. CV = 10.9%, and df for EMS = 18.
Bolding indicates entries yielding equal to highest yielding entry within a column based on Fisher's protected LSD (P = 0.10).
Planted: April 10, 2000.
Harvested: July 31, 2000.
Seeding Rate: * Seeded at 31,000 seeds/acre in 30" rows, but due to bird damage thinned to 26,500 plants/acre. + Seeded at 28,500 seeds/acre in 30" rows, but due to bird damage thinned to 24,000 plants/acre.
Soil Type: Pacolet coarse sandy loam.
Soil Test: P = Medium, K = High, and pH = 6.9.
Fertilization: 49 lb N, 98 lb P2O5, and 147 lb K2O/acre as preplant; 200 lb N/acre as sidedress.
Previous Crop: Soybean.
Management: Moldboard plowed and rototilled; Aatrex and Lasso used for weed control; irrigated 7.0 inches.
