1. IVDMD (in vitro dry matter disappearance) is an indicator of quality and is positively related to animal digestibility (higher values indicate higher digestibility). Samples used for IVDMD determination were
collected for all entries of a replicated trial at the same state of reproductive development (soft dough).
2. CV = 13.2% and df for EMS = 27.
Bolding indicates entries yielding equal to highest yielding entry within a column based on Fisher's protected LSD (P = 0.10).
Planted: April 19, 2000.
Harvested: August 4, 2000.
Seeding Rate: 100,000 seed/acre in 30" rows.
Soil Type: Tifton loamy sand.
Soil Test: P = High, K = Medium, and pH = 6.5.
Fertilization: Preplant: 54 lb N, 40 lb P2O5, and 60 lb K2O/acre. Sidedress: 56 lb N/acre.
Previous Crop: Soybean.
Management: Subsoiled and bedded; rototilled; Aatrex and one cultivation used for weed control; Diazinon used for insect control; Nemacur used for nematode control.

Test conducted by A. E. Coy and M. D. Pippin.
